Airline Hamburg International filed for insolvency
The airline Hamburg International has announced on its website it has filed for insolvency. The airline has stopped operations on the 20th of October 2010. The management didn't find an appropriate investor in time as the official statement claims.
Hamburg International airlines was founded in 1998. It was focused on operating charter flights. Its fleet included 8 Airbus A319's and one Boeing 737–700. The planes are being handed over back to the leasing companies. All of its 320 employees are assured to get salaries for three months by the employment agency.
