Austrian Airlines hand luggage

When travelling with Austrian Airlines, you're entitled to one item of hand baggage weighing up to 8 kg and not larger than 55×40×23 cm. Travelling with kids? No worries – you can take on board a fully collapsible stroller or a child car seat. The first-mentioned can't exceed 10 kg.

The free baggage allowance is simplified to the point where only one rule matters for all economy passengers – the allowance is 1 item of baggage weighing up to 23 kg and not exceeding 158 cm.

As for children younger than 2 years, their allowance includes a fully collapsible buggy weighing up to 10 kg in addition to the above.
